A total 5400 fecal samples from animals of different regions in Bangladesh were examined for gastro-intestinal nematodiasis. Results: Out of 5400 fecal samples 4075 animals were found to be positive with various GI nematodes infection contributing a prevalence rate of 75.46%. The results revealed seven groups of nematodes were prevalent during the study period including strongylidspp (65.87%), Trichurisspp (8.76%), Staphanofilariaspp (5.70%), Capillariaspp (5.25%), Strongyloidesspp (5.15%), Thelaziaspp (5.08%) and Ascarisspp (4.32%).
